As part of the further growth of the organisation, we are now looking for a
(Senior-) Fundraising & Brand Manager (gn)
to contribute to our work.
A major part of the role will be working with our corporate partners, philanthropists and foundations, who form the ‘CEMUNE Global Circle’, to help shape the future of our organisation.
Aufgaben
Your role
- Maintain trusted relationships with existing members of the CEMUNE Global Circle, including corporations, foundations, and philanthropists.
- Expand the Global Circle, through development and implementation of a targeted acquisition strategy.
- Develop targeted strategies to engage donors,partners, and other stakeholders (e.g., through events, digital content, newsletters, personalized outreach).
- Enhance CEMUNE's social media presence and brand development, to underpin and support the development of the Global Circle.
- Develop tailored funding and sponsorship projects in close collaboration with the wider CEMUNE team and secure the necessary financial resources.
- Analyse current fundraising trends and developments and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the strategic fundraising approach.
- Ensure smooth operations by managing administrative tasks, including contract management.
- Represent CEMUNE at global sustainability conferences and official engagements.
- Option to develop skills as a trainer, to enhance CEMUNE’s capacity to deliver negotiations training around the world.
Anforderungen
Your profile
- University degree with at least 3–5 years of proven experience and track record in fundraising, sponsorship, or related fields.
- Background in sustainability is essential; experience in multilateral negotiations is an advantage.
- Experience in developing and executing communication strategies for stakeholder engagement and targeted outreach, including the creation of digital content and other communication materials.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex projects and events with success.
- Outgoing personality with confidence and enthusiasm in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Strong service-oriented mindset, paired with a sales-driven and results-focused approach.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; good German skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to global sustainability conferences and related events.
- Work location: Greater Hamburg area or within a reasonable distance (e. g. Berlin) with a willingness to work from the Hamburg office 1-2 days or more per week; alternatively remotely from London
