We are looking for a Project Lead – Global Standards Platform to take a key role in shaping and delivering a central digital platform that supports transparency, traceability and impact across global textile supply chains. This is a fixed‑term position for two years, with the possibility of a permanent contract, offering the opportunity to work remotely from Germany, with occasional travel, in a purpose‑driven and international environment where your expertise helps turn values into action.

Aufgaben

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Coordination

  1. Plan and coordinate the delivery of a time‑bound digital platform project with multiple interrelated workstreams
  2. Maintain a clear project roadmap, milestones and delivery schedule in line with defined project objectives
  3. Translate organisational requirements into concrete project activities, workflows and deliverables
  4. Support structured prioritisation and project‑level decision preparation within the agreed project scope
  5. Apply a hands‑on project management approach, including progress tracking, task coordination, clarification of responsibilities, removal of delivery obstacles and practical problem‑solving

Stakeholder and Partner Management

  1. Act as the primary operational contact for external IT service providers and implementation partners within the project scope
  2. Facilitate effective collaboration between internal teams and external partners involved in the platform project

Platform Integration and Implementation

  1. Coordinate delivery across multiple connected project workstreams contributing to a shared digital platform
  2. Ensure that system components are integrated in accordance with agreed project requirements
  3. Monitor dependencies, risks and timelines across workstreams and address issues proactively
  4. Escalate project‑relevant risks and conflicts in a timely and transparent manner
  5. Support the controlled implementation and further development of the platform within the defined project scope

Anforderungen

Candidate Profile

  1. Proven experience in managing complex IT or digital platform projects within a defined project scope
  2. Project leadership experience of approximately five years or more in delivery‑focused roles
  3. Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies
  4. A hands‑on project management mindset with a focus on pragmatic, solution‑oriented delivery
  5. High motivation to contribute to the mission of global sustainability standards and responsible textile value chains
  6. Ability to bring structure and clarity to evolving or ambiguous project environments
  7. Experience working closely with both internal teams and external partners, and effectively bridging technical and non‑technical perspectives
  8. Clear, structured and constructive communication style
  9. Experience with voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) and global textile supply chains is a strong asset and considered a preferred qualification
  10. A well‑structured digital platform project delivered within agreed scope, timeframes and quality expectations
  11. Effective integration of interconnected system components into a coherent and reliable platform
  12. Successful rollout of new standards supported by the platform (e.g. GRTS)
  13. Tangible reduction of manual processes and measurable improvements in data quality and consistency
  14. Strong alignment and collaboration across involved teams and stakeholders
  15. Clearly defined priorities, transparent progress tracking and timely resolution of project‑related obstacles
