The International Detention Coalition (IDC) is a unique global network of over 400 civil society organisations and individuals in almost 90 countries, that advocate for, research and provide direct services to refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants affected by immigration detention. We work to prevent and limit the use of immigration detention through solutions-focused advocacy and collaboration with a range of stakeholders on engagement-based alternatives to detention.
