D4L data4life gGmbH
Über uns
Data4Life is a nonprofit digital health organization headquartered in Potsdam supported by the Hasso Plattner Foundation, with additional locations in Berlin and Singapore. We make health data from diverse sources accessible, standardized, and secure - enabling responsible research to improve public health and personalized medicine. Our digital solutions support international standards such as FHIR and OMOP, and enable scalable digital research infrastructures with a strong focus on data sovereignty and transparency. We work with university hospitals and global research institutions to unlock the full potential of health data. In collaboration with Charité and Mount Sinai Health System, we are supporting cross-border use cases based on millions of patient records. As a nonprofit, we prioritize social impact, data ethics, and open collaboration.

Bewerbungsprozess
We especially welcome applicants from the LGBTQI+ community, people with a migration background, people of color, and individuals with neurodiversity, disabilities, or chronic illnesses to the team. If you need support or special assistance during the application or interview process due to a disability, please feel free to let us know and we are happy to accommodate you as much as possible.
Our hiring process is designed to be transparent, structured, and respectful of your time. It usually includes several interview stages. After a CV review and an initial conversation with our Recruiting team, you’ll meet the Hiring Manager for a deeper discussion about your experience and the role. Depending on the position, there may be additional steps such as a case study or technical interview, a team interview, or (for senior roles) a conversation with our C-level team.
For some roles, we include a practical task to better understand your way of working. We don’t typically invite candidates for trial working days. Before making a final decision, we conduct reference checks with at least two former supervisors.
Throughout the process, we aim to give you clear feedback and ensure you have a great experience getting to know us.
