WHO WE ARE
In Berlin, for over thirty years we’ve been known for the legendary Cookies club and our extravagant parties. From opening Cookies Cream, Germany’s first Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant, to turning the former nightclub into Crackers, a chic bar-and-restaurant with seasonal, ingredient-focused cuisine, we keep pushing boundaries across events, gastronomy and catering.
Since 2008, Cookies World has also supported social initiatives in Tanzania through our “Charity at” project, giving around 80 children in the village of Mbigili a safe environment, a high-quality education, and the tools to build an independent future.

Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen
- We were awarded the highest rating, 3 Stars, by the Food Made Good Certification from the Sustainable Restaurant Association.
- Cookies Cream was the first fine dining restaurant in Berlin to serve an exclusively vegetarian menu, and we continue to expand our vegan and plant-based offering.
- At Crackers, around 60% of the menu is now vegan or vegetarian.
- Both restaurants run on 100% green electricity.
- We have switched to LED lighting wherever possible, modernised our ventilation systems, and invested in more energy-efficient kitchen equipment.
- We continuously monitor our electricity consumption and take energy efficiency into account when purchasing new equipment.
- In our kitchens and bars, we actively work to reduce food waste by reusing ingredients and leftovers, for example in syrups, reductions and cordials.
- We carefully separate waste in our restaurants, including glass, cardboard and organic waste.
- We work closely with regional, seasonal and sustainable producers, farmers and suppliers.
- We promote plant-based eating through initiatives such as Veganuary, Plant Milk Week, BBQ Week and other seasonal actions.
- In our wine and beverage selection, we focus on organic, biodynamic and natural production methods, short transport routes, small wineries and diverse producers.
- We create a diverse, international and supportive work environment with more flexible shift models, 4-day-week options and internal development opportunities.
- Through Charity at [ ], we have been supporting an education project for children and young people in Mbigili, Tanzania, since 2008.
