Plant-Level Connectivity Ownership: You take ownership of plant-level connectivity and integration across Encavis’ European portfolio of photovoltaic (PV), battery storage (BESS) and hybrid assets.

• Communication Architecture & Assessment: You contribute to the evaluation and assessment of communication architectures for existing and new projects, ensuring reliable real-time and near-real-time data transfer.
• System Integration & Interface Management: You ensure seamless communication between plant-level components such as inverters, Power Plant Controllers (PPCs), data loggers, Energy Management Systems (EMS) and BESS controllers, and their integration into central monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshooting & Operational Support: You support the analysis and resolution of connectivity and communication issues in coordination with local O&M providers from an IPP perspective.
• Standardization & Governance: You coordinate cross-company and cross-country stakeholders and contribute to the standardization of connectivity concepts and interface definitions across the portfolio.
• IT/OT Collaboration & Security: You work closely with IT/OT teams to ensure secure and compliant system architectures and support network and information security requirements, including documentation, audits and security reviews.
• Monitoring Integration & Data Availability: You support integration into central SCADA and monitoring platforms and ensure consistent data availability and quality across the portfolio.

• Academic Background: You hold a degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Relevant Professional Experience: You bring several years of experience in plant connectivity and SCADA environments within renewable energy, ideally in solar PV or battery storage systems.
• Technical & System Understanding: You have a strong understanding of networking, system interfaces and device-level communication within energy plant environments.
• Communication Protocols & Integration: You have hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, MQTT, IEC-based communication as well as APIs for data access and system integration.
• Hands-on Mindset & Problem Solving: You approach challenges with a practical mindset and are able to identify and resolve real-world connectivity issues in complex plant environments.
• Collaboration & Communication Skills: You communicate effectively and collaborate confidently within international and cross-functional teams.
• Language & International Environment: You are fluent in English; German, Italian or other European language skills are considered a plus.
• Mobility & Travel: You are willing to travel occasionally within Europe, for example to Hamburg and Parma.
