GoodCompany

Unsere nachhaltigen Ziele machen uns zu einer von GoodJobs ausgezeichneten „GoodCompany“.
Hilf uns dabei, die Welt etwas besser zu machen!

Intro

We have big plans for Tomorrow. Our vision: Establish sustainable finance at the heart of society. That's a hell of a lot of work – so let's get started.

Most banking features are the same everywhere—so design is what truly sets us apart. Great UX is our unfair advantage—because the best way to change the financial system is to throw a better party than those destroying it.

As Lead Product Designer (f/m/x), you’ll drive our design vision for fun, engaging, and social banking—pushing the boundaries of money management to create experiences people genuinely enjoy.

Aufgaben

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented designers, fostering a culture of curiosity and collaboration.
  2. Define and execute the Product Design strategy – ensuring a seamless, high-quality, and innovative user experience.
  3. Challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and push the boundaries of mobile UX/UI.
  4. Collaborate closely with Product, Brand, and Engineering to align design with business strategy and brand vision—ensuring design is a driving force in how we build and evolve our products.
  5. Shape our design system, making it scalable and consistent across products.

Anforderungen

What we're looking for

  1. You have led design in a fast-growing start-up and thrive in an innovation-focused environment.
  2. A portfolio of high-impact design work on user-facing, mobile-first products, demonstrating innovation, execution, and creativity.
  3. You inspire and mentor designers, using your leadership experience to help them grow and innovate.
  4. You have deep expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, and prototyping—Figma is your go-to tool.
  5. You can tell a compelling story, articulating your vision and rallying stakeholders around it.
  6. You think strategically and connect design decisions to business impact.
  7. You are experienced in collaborating within an agile environment.
  8. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  9. You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Benefits

What we offer

It will be fun too, we promise! Together with more than 100 like-minded colleagues, you will work every day to win people over to sustainable finance. Our culture is based on our values, our active new work philosophy and on clear, ambitious goals. But the best way to get to know us is to come and meet us and experience Tomorrow for yourself.

Salary

79.000 - 90.000 EUR annual gross + one-time 50.000 EUR in virtual shares

Transparency is Queen (and King). This is why we indicate a salary range for all jobs. Once we have got to know you better in an interview, we will be able to assess you individually and find out where you fit in our transparent salary matrix.

You want to work remotely?

We want to give all employees at Tomorrow the opportunity to organize their personal life and working hours flexibly and in keeping with their own requirements. Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. Our office is wheelchair-accessible, has ground-level access and offers flexible options for designing your workspace. We expect our future Lead Product Designer (f/m/x) to spend a minimum of 1-2 days per every other week working on-site in our office. We will be happy to discuss all other details with you when we meet you (virtually) in person. One more thing: for organizational reasons, this position requires your place of residence to be in Germany.

Bewerbungsprozess

What's the next step?

We'd like to welcome you to our community.

That is why we want to engage with you at eye level and invite you to come as you are - even if you think you don’t fit all the requirements yet.

If you're interested in working with us we need the following from you:

  1. Your resume, without photo or birth information.
  2. A portfolio of your experience in website and app design.
  3. Your salary expectations and earliest possible starting date.
  4. A few sentences about your motivation to build the banking of tomorrow with us.

Besides, we would appreciate it if you let us know how you would like to be addressed (pronoun / preferred name) so that we can take that into account throughout the application process.

Our interview process:

  1. First interview around cultural aspects and experience | Talent Acquisition
  2. Technical Interview including a Case Study | Head of Product & Senior Product Designer
  3. Final interview in our office | Head of Product & Managing Director
