People & Culture Operations Manager (gn) 

to help support our growing team in the next phase of our journey.

YOUR ROLE IN SHORT

In your role, you are the first point of contact for all HR administration issues from onboarding to offboarding. Your in-depth knowledge of (German) labour law and social security law, which you enjoy keeping up to date, helps you to make our HR processes as smooth as possible. You are primarily responsible for the preparatory, monthly payroll accounting in coordination with our external payroll provider and are the contact person for social security and tax law issues. You will be responsible for personnel and organisational tasks such as onboarding and offboarding and will be in contact with health insurance companies and tax offices. You will maintain and be responsible for all employee data in Factorial and create employment contracts, references, contract amendments, notices of termination and relevant statistics. You take ownership of your own HR projects or special cases, such as visa processes and special cases in the area of salary and social security.

You will be responsible for the administration of all People & Culture Operations processes from entry to exit of our employees including ...

• ... the creation, development and review of HR documents (bilingual in German and English)
• ... the conscientious preparation of monthly payroll accounting (also international)
• ... the management of visa processes
• You keep our contracts up to date and develop their content further
• You provide all employees and managers with advice and support in all matters relating to labour and contract law. Professional, fast and accurate handling of all issues is very important to you
• You are a key user of our HR-software Factorial and continuously develop it further in addition to constant data maintenance and analyses
• You liaise with our legal department as required and provide support with new requirements in labour and contract law
• You continuously optimise our structures and processes in the entire administrative People & Culture Operations area

• You have a great passion for human resources and have either successfully completed a degree in business administration, human resources or commercial training or further training (preferably in human resources or office communications)
• 5+ years of experience in a labour law HR function in which you have drawn up employment contracts and contract amendments yourself
• Ideally, you have already gained experience with international payroll accounting
• Positive mindset, openness to change, efficient handling of complex tasks, and comfort in a lively and agile environment
• In-depth knowledge of German labor, tax, and social security laws, with a commitment to staying updated
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, proactive approach to challenges, and forward-thinking
• You set yourself high standards in your work and always act in a service-orientated and professional manner with a high sense of responsibility
• You are a proficient user of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Full working proficiency in English and German is a must, high proficiency in French is also required
